Frequently Asked Questions

• What do I get with Premium? Premium unlocks custom tasks, photo documentation, cost tracking, appliance log with warranty tracking and document storage, freeze alerts, CSV export, and support for multiple homes. Premium also enables smart reminders for upcoming, overdue, and seasonal tasks.
• Can I try Premium for free? The App Store may offer a free trial depending on the subscription plan. Check the paywall in the app for current offers.
• How do I restore my purchase? Open the app, go to Settings, and tap the Premium card. Then tap "Restore Purchases" on the paywall.
• Does Maintain share my data? No. Your data is stored on your device and in your private iCloud container. We do not track you or sell your data.
• What if a task doesn't apply to my home? You can hide any pre-loaded task from the task detail screen. Hidden tasks can be restored in Settings.

Privacy Policy

Maintain respects your privacy. Maintain does not collect personal information on our servers. Your data — including your home details, tasks, appliances, expenses, photos, and settings — is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service.

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal CloudKit container associated with your Apple ID. We cannot access this data. Sync is handled entirely by Apple.

We use Apple WeatherKit to provide freeze alerts and climate-based maintenance recommendations. Weather requests are made through Apple's service and do not include personally identifiable information.

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications do not send data to our servers.

By downloading or using Maintain, you agree to these Terms of Use. Maintain is designed to help homeowners track maintenance tasks, costs, warranties, and appliances. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

Maintain offers optional Premium subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase. These are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and are subject to Apple's terms. Subscription renewals and cancellations are managed through your Apple ID settings.

Maintenance recommendations and cost estimates in the App are for general guidance only. They do not replace professional inspection, diagnosis, or repair advice. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, that notifications will always be timely, or that weather forecasts will be accurate.
